It's What's for Breakfast!

Buns in my oven
I am always looking for easy recipes. If you read my blog, “easy” is my middle name. All you have to do is unroll a tube of crescent roll dough, sprinkle some cooked breakfast sausage and cooked bacon over the crescent rolls, and pour in the cheesy eggs. Put in the oven and bake until golden brown. I would definitely make this again for breakfast. Big John had it for two days, and it was just as good the second day.
Ingredients
1 can of crescent rolls (I used the 8 oz. triangle dough – just roll them out unseparated)
-
1 pound crumbled, cooked Circle B Ranch breakfast sausage
-
6 slices of Hickory Smoked Bacon
7 eggs
1 cup milk
Salt and pepper
1 3/4 cups of Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Non-Stick Spray
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Coat a 9 x 13 dish with non-stick spray.
Unroll crescent dough and form into the casserole dish … you’ll want some dough going up the sides of the dish. Spread out the meat in an even layer onto the dough.
Top with about a cup of shredded cheese. Beat 5 eggs with the milk. Add in a pinch of salt and pepper.
Pour over the meat and cheese layer. Top with about 1/2 – 1 cup additional cheese. Bake on middle rack for 25 – 35 minutes or until eggs are set and crust is brown and flaky. Allow to cool on counter for about 5 minutes before slicing.
