Dinner, then dessert
Any high class steak house you go into will have a Wedge Salad. Who knew that iceberg lettuce could taste so good? Enjoy!
8slices of Circle b Ranch Hickory Smoked bacon
1 head iceberg lettuce in 8 wedges
2 cups blue cheese dressing
6 ounces blue cheese crumbled
2 cups grape tomatoes halved
1/2 small red onion diced
ground black pepper to taste
Cut the bacon into pieces and cook the bacon in a skill until crisp. Remove to a plated lined with paper towels.
Cut the iceberg lettuce in half. Cut each of the halves again in half or thirds (depending on how big the ice berg head is), to create "wedges". Place wedges on individual plates.
To serve, spoon dressing (of your choice usually ranch or blue cheese) over lettuce then sprinkle the bacon crumbles, tomatos, onion and blue cheese crumbles on top. SEason with fresh crushed black pepper, to taste.
