Pork is good for you!
Do you need some ideas for the holidays when you have family around? Order your Circle B Hams now -- and then try this recipe some weekend!
I love to cook. Always have, always will. It’s my favorite form of stress relief, and more importantly, I cook for my family whom I love! This past weekend, I took our Circle B Ranch Cured Ham and put a Cranberry Orange marinade on it. After it baked, it had this wonderful crust and a sweet and savory taste! The next morning we sliced it and flash-fried it in a hot pan with eggs for breakfast, and for lunch we had ham sandwiches!
Ingredients
-
1 - Circle B Ranch Cured Ham 8-10 lbs.
6 peeled Garlic Cloves
4 oz Orange Marmalade
-
4 oz. Marina's Cranberry Chutney
1/2 cup Brown Sugar (packed)
1/4 cup Orange Juice
1/4 cup Dijon Mustard
3 Tbs Soy Sauce
2 Tbs Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
Directions
Preheat over to 350 degrees.
Mince garlic in a food processor. Add all other ingredients to the minced garlic and process until smooth.
Pour the glaze over the ham and bake for 1 hour.
Bake covered for 15 minutes and then uncover for the remainder of the time. It will be done when the ham is warmed through and the glaze takes a golden brown color.
Recipe Note
I served ours with whole grain mustard, Marina's Cranberry Chutney, baked apples with squash, and (of course!)
Leftovers were even great!
