This recipe goes great with any Asian-style recipe. It came out delicious! And look at those beautiful colors. Enjoy!
3 large carrots, peeled
1 small red cabbage (about 2.5 cups)
1 small onion, chopped
1 garlic clove, chopped
2 Tbsp. sesame seeds
2 Tbsp. sesame oil
¼ cup soy sauce
Pinch of chili flakes
Salt to taste
Place sesame oil, seeds, onion, garlic, and the pinch of chili flakes in a skillet over low to medium heat.
Sauté until onions are translucent; add carrots and cabbage and sauté for an additional five minutes. Add soy sauce and let simmer for five minutes.
