If you want fall of the bone delicious chicken wings, you are going to love these!
24 Chicken Wings
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
1/2 - 1 Cup reduced-sodium chicken broth
Big Johns Signature BBQ Sauce
If your wings did not come cut at the joints, do that now to make 24 pieces; Sprinkle with Salt & pepper.
Add chicken wings to slow cooker (3 1/4-4 qt size). Pour chicken broth over chicken. Cover and cook on low 2-3 hours. Stirring once halfway through cooking.
Preheat broiler. Line a 15x10-inch baking pan with foil. Using tongs or a slotted spoon, transfer wings to prepared baking pan; discard cooking liquid. Broil wings 4 to 5 inches from heat 4-6 minutes, turning once halfway through broiling.
After broiling, brush with BBQ sauce (both sides). Broil 2-3 minutes more or until sauce is thickened and wings are lightly browned.
Toss wings with more BBQ sauce. Serve with a dish of sauce if you'd like.
If you like a more saucy wing, you can toss them in the sauce rather than brushing the sauce on them.
